Iowa 24, Georgia Tech 14 (final) Orange Bowl

Lose and give up over 200 yards rushing despite a conservative gameplan?

Take a top ten team to OT, on the road, with a true freshman QB starting his first game. If they can take us to OT in the Shoe, they can beat GT on a neutral field.

I think this was kinda my point earlier - their offense and special teams deserved the credit for that, not their defense. Their defense gave up over 100 yards more than their own season average in rushing yards and 35 yards more than Ohio State's rushing average for the season in that game - including three rushing TDs of 10+ yards.

If I were an Iowa fan I would've been a bit disappointed with the results defensively against Ohio State, but ecstatic with what they've been able to do so far tonight.

Man, Iowa is really pissing away what started as a good drive into scoring position.

As well as their defense has played, it's only 14-7. :ohwell:
