DEBuckeye

It ain't easy, bein' cheesy.
My company has a policy against checkin' out porn on company computers, as I suspect many of your companies do. A few weeks ago some idiot tried to get around it and got fired. :bonk:

That got me to thinking, considering how big the internet porn industry is, how common is it for "normal" people to use?

How many of you have ever actually paid to get internet porn- I mean subscribing to a website and watching/downloading pictures or movies?

I've looked at assorted pictures, etc., but have never actually whipped out the credit card to sign up.

There are people that actually pay those sites?? :shake:

Any good newsgroup will give hundreds of active passwords for free.

I work for the Department of Taxation on their big computer systems. Our policy is pretty blunt. Zero tolerance.

My policy is the same as 27's... why pay for what you can get free?

Seems to me internet porn is a stage of life. When I first hipped up to the net - circa 1992 - that was pretty much all I was interested in as far as what the net had to offer... that and sports information. Now I rarely bother with the former.

27's right, there is so much out there for free.

I also happen to have a little knowledge of DE's company.
They fired one employee who got a DUI on his own time with his own car.
The reasoning was that he had a company car and they could no longer insure him.
They also fired another guy who while on the road trolled for tramps on the internet.
That guy was a loser and I am sure they got rid of him for performance reasons.

In today's work environment you have to be a fool to even consider doing anything suspicious or questionable.

I have heard that internet porn has acheived a addictive status rivaling drugs.
I have seen some pretty sick stuff.
It has gone from sexual acts to human degradation.

Yes, indeed. 'Nola's right- they don't put up with much here. Porn will get you an instant escort out the door.

By the way, when I said I'd looked at a few pictures in the first post, it was not here at work. I wouldn't be here if that were the case.... Hell, I don't even check out the fluff thread here.
