Insomniac in Columbus! What to do?

Hi all!

For reasons that will be apparent later, I will be arriving into Columbus on Fri. Oct. 14th at 11:45pm, and leaving the next morning at 6:45am.

So I have 7 hours in the middle of the night to kill, and I don't feel like wasting money on a room (remember, I'm on West Coast time ) I will be renting a car, and intend on living out my own personal episode of "Insomniac."

So, what is there to do, in/around Columbus/OSU late at night? Places to hang out, late night eating, parties? I could even use a tour guide (of sorts) if you're willing.

Please... help a fellow out!:p

P.S. - If you can't tell, I've never been to Columbus.

Since your a Dave Attel fan. When He was here I think last year maybe the year before he went to Eldorado's on Morse and High and Bob's Bar right across High Street. Eldorado's is a pretty fun hole in the wall, but I don't know much about Bob's.

If I were you I would start at Betty's for some a club sandwich, some afternoon delight, and to pay homage to Betty Page.

After you've paid your respects head a few blocks down the street to Skully's. I actually helped Skully refurbish this place after he got a hell of deal on it when previous lesbian owners didn't pay their property taxes.

After that you could head over to campus and find multiple parties to go to. Especially if Ohio State and Michigan State are both still undefeated going into the game on the 15th.

Or there's always Pure Platinum. about 5 exits north on 315. There open until i think 6am and the best part besides having the best looking strippers in columbus is that they're BYOB. Hell you could drag a keg in there if you wanted. Yeah it cost 30 dollars to get in if you havn't been there before($20 membership fee), but if you've ever ordered a drink at a strip club before 30 bucks is what 2 beers and a long island.

Hell I don't have to be at work until 3pm wednesday I might follow this plan tommorow night.

Since you're coming in at 11:45 pm, I'd suggest this route. It sits near the corner of Bethel and Sawmill Road. It's just west of Sawmill on Bethel, right side.

With the parties on campus, the Arena District, German Village, and the strip clubs, you won't find a city with more night life in the state.

Funny you should say that.... I changed my plane tickets to go to Indianapolis instead.

No no, don't worry, I don't hate your city... Indy happens to be my hometown. That, and the fact that now I get to watch the USC-ND game with a bunch of ND fans.

But thanks for everyone's help. :oh::io:
