Couldn't help but do a little spying. In gleaning what I could from what appeared to be reliable sources from the Michigan sites here is what I've learned:
RB: Hart is light years ahead of the other backs with Martin being split out for passes a lot. Grady is heir-apparent at #2.
WR: Avant and Breaston are performing well but Dutch is overtaking Tabb.
OL: A mess. Injuries and a lot of uncertainty about who's playing where.
TE: Solid.
DL: The interior is playing well with Watson blowing up so many plays they have to take him out to execute any offense (see above OL notes). The ends are quick off the edges in pass rush, but the smallish DE's Woodley, Woods and Crable are getting killed in the run game despite the condition of the O-line.
LB: They like their speed on the outside with Burgess and Graham... McKlintock (sp) in the middle.
DB: To quote a Michigan insider... the receivers are making them look ugly. Hall is the only one holding his ground while the others are getting torched in every phase of the game.
QB: Haven't seen anything.
Special teams: Haven't seen anything
It's good to see they have some major issues. I know they'll be ready to go once the season starts and be a different team by the time we play them, but so will we. I'm still licking my chops at the prospect of our WR's against their secondary and our D against their Braylon-less offense.
