generally speaking maybe its time in the name of gender equity to ban reporters from the locker rooms. all of these complexes have media rooms, i think maybe it is time to put them to use. im not sure it is right, proper, or correct (in reality or politically) to have men in the wnba locker rooms (they are not allowed), women in mens locker rooms, etc.

I wonder why there is a double standard here?

i think gender considerations.

beyond that, i asked a reporter who covers a national sport for a common name about this. i basically asked what it was like, and what was his reaction. the general response was that he did not see much beyond the good ol boys in his sport, yet women did exist, did guys check them out, sure, was their some "humor" stuff, certainly as in many of our jobs/experiences. though the level of professionalism was generally high. weve talked since then, and he has talked to a few of the women in major sports media coverage who essentially reflected that, though generally saying nba/nfl are worse than the other major sports, yet they had not really had any issues. though all of these women were "respected" journalist, ie names that everyone here could identify and that some of this "other stuff" (no name women or little heard of media outlets) tended to be treated less professional from the athletes.

all that being said, im not sure i really read/care about some quote that someone said after the game, maybe im getting old and boring... hard to say.

Honestly, I think they need to allow men into the women's locker rooms, or in the case of the WNBA make men go in there against their will, or keep women out of the locker rooms.

They want gender equality, make it equal

The one sports radio guy around here on Detroit said a few days ago that this was completely false and he had been in the Detroit Shock locker room plenty of times as a media member.
