The Red's have one of the worst bullpens in baseball and the offense (shockingly) failed to capitalize. Unfortunately, they also have a very good closer, so...yeah.

Blake and Carroll strike out looking??? Down by 1 in the 9th, you HAVE to swing the bat with 2 strikes. I think I learned that in little league.

I remember them preaching that to us. If you are going to strike out at least get the bat off your shoulder. I really don't understand why BOTH didn't swing. Yeah sure they were good pitches that were practically down the freaking middle. Swing the damn bat. Yet again, bullpen blows it.

Blake's was 6 inches outside, but it sounds like the ump was calling that the whole night.
