Indians Tidbits (2007 Season)

Canton

Schilling as underdog?

BOSTON Curt Schilling an underdog?

Seriously. Just ask him.

We're talking about a six-time All-Star. A guy with a 9-2 career postseason record, best of any pitcher in history with at least 10 postseason decisions. His playoff ERA is 1.93. He ranks in the top 15 in baseball's all-time strikeout list.

Yet, somehow, the 40-year-old right-hander said Friday he views himself as something less than a consensus choice to win tonight's Game 2 of the American League Championship Series against Cleveland right-hander Fausto Carmona, a pitcher in his first full season in the big leagues.

Your exactly right.....as bad as last night was....the goal was to get the split.....that is still right in front of them.......I almost think it was to easy for Boston last night and that may be an advantage for us tonight......this series is far from over.

Yep if we can split tonight then we'll be in really good shape. Come on Carmona pitch us a gem!!!

Nixon was actually pinch-hitting for Barfield who ran for Pronk.

Sorry to delay your coronation by one day, Boston. Did you see the looks on those motherfuckers after Lowell's HR? It was like a party to them. Sorry to crash it, bitches.

Tribe winning 3 straight in Cleveland would suit those east-coast cocksuckers perfectly.

Yep, Boston was getting way too relaxed and cocky after Lowell's homerun. Cleveland played a helluva ballgame. Way to battle it out.

And to reiterate, the Indians should absolutely be playing Nixon in the playoffs, especially when the game is on the line, as demonstrated last night. He's a winner.
