Sloop, maybe you have this stat somewhere, but I remember hearing somewhere that the AL East is pretty dominant when playing the other divisions in baseball. I heard somewhere that they have more wins against other divisions that the other divisions have against the others, etc... The AL East is beating itself up, that's why I hate the wild card race as well, but what can you do about it? ...well besides balance out the schedule some more but I don't see that happening

i wil venture to say that wickman is done with the tribe after the year, and cleveland will resign howry to be the closer, with cabrera possibly moving into the setup role. when cabrera's slider is working well, it is downright nasty.

Everyone in the AL Central except for KC has a winning record against the East.

They'll still have Rhodes and (I think) Riske... so they can use Cabrera in a role he's comfortable with.

Well I'm on the clock, Tribe won the series. At least the second part of my prediction would have been true if they had been able to sweep the Rays. Now the Indians need to go out and win every series and make it to the playoffs.
