Game Thread Indiana at tOSU, Sat. Nov. 23, 12pm EST, FOX

This game will be played on the 50th anniversary of Archie Griffin's final game before receiving his first Heisman Trophy.

It was a 12-10 victory over the cheaters.

* The trophy was presented on December 12th, a Thursday. This is back before the presentations were televised. They were typically done in the middle of the day, not in the evening.

I'm pretty sure Bo is still whining about that missed field goal attempt. I know there is a message board (maybe more than one, but I don't care) full of dummies who believe that the referees were intimidated by 80,000 fans.

We're gonna beat the fuck out of the Hoosiers. Fuck em. Upjumped basketball school needs a reminder that football supremacy has been decided since Bobby Knight was a bench warmer at the true power school. Fuck Calbert Cheney, FUCK Damon Bailey. Fuck the crimson and cream and fuck Tom Crean.

Would have said fuck some football players but I don't remember any.

Oh, wait. Fuck Antoine Randal-El

We have got to hit them hard to start the game because I tend to think teams are rusty at first after a BYE.
There's going to be no let down going into this game. Indiana will be 10-0 (their best record, by far, EVER). I think we win by two TDs...at least.

I know i say this every week no matter the opponent, weather, location, my own best interest, etc...

But I think we're gonna break their dicks off.

I like your optimism.
While I think this Ohio State's will be the best defense Indiana will have faced, I think it's going to be a shoot-out.

Rourke completing 73.3% of his passes and having an average of 10.5 YPA is insane. They have a couple of big play receivers that average 17.5 and 22.6 YPC. I'm sure they've seen the Oregon film and plan on attacking Burke - hopefully we've learned some lessons and decide to attack their OL because if we sit back we are going to get picked apart.

Defensively they have 11 picks and 31 sacks, so they get after it. 8 FFs. They have a DE transfer that has 9.5 sacks already - I don't know much about him, but can't imagine he's tougher than Carter was.

Hoping for a night game, a wild crowd, and an aggressive defensive strategy and I'll feel a lot better about this one.

Here's the current results of Indiana's games so far this year:

Florida International (3-6)
Western Illinois (3-6) (FCS)
UCLA (3-5)
Charlotte (3-6)
Maryland (4-4)
Northwestern (4-5)
Nebraska (5-4)
Washington (5-4)
Michigan State (4-5)

They've played no one who is even close to being ranked, and they've only played two teams that currently have a winning record (both 5-4). The current records of their opponents come out to a 34-45 total overall, and the total points all they have combined in the AP poll is four (Washington).

They should beat scUM this weekend (and I surely hope they do), but they'll step foot into another dimension of football on Nov 23...

Brings perspective doesn't it!? Thanks!
