Indiana at tOSU, November 21st, Noon on Fox

I was in attendance...to the bitter end

Ohio State was dominated on the LOS all game long

By far the biggest difference in these teams is on the LOS, but not in Indiana’s favour this time

Indiana is a well coached team and they can play with anyone when they can fight to a draw on the LOS.

That won’t happen Saturday.

Ohio State is about to take the best Indiana team ever and smoke them like a cheap cigar

Buckeyes 56-24
I agree. I see our offense hitting big plays due to their aggressiveness.

I was thinking like 56-31 myself.

Buckeyes ready to be tested by Michael Penix
Indiana is off to its best start of the century at 4-0, and starting quarterback Michael Penix is a big part of that. The Hoosiers signal-caller has been electrifying through four games and can make plays any way he needs to.

Ohio State is preparing to face the best quarterback it has seen all year.

“His confidence,” Josh Proctor said when asked what stands out about Penix. “He’s a great player. He has a strong arm. He has a really great receiving corps. We know they’re going to try attacking us downfield and they’re going to challenge us this week, so we just have to be ready.”

The Buckeyes secondary struggled when it faced Penn State, and Indiana seems to have similar skill talent. Proctor and the Buckeyes back end will have their hands full trying to stop the Hoosiers in the air, especially if Penix continues to play as well as he has so far.

Ohio State defensive line ready to ramp up pressure
Ohio State doesn’t have a Chase Young-like defensive end in its defensive line room this season who can wreck an entire game plan on his own. But the Buckeyes do have a deep, experienced crop of defensive ends that have a huge job to do this week.

The Buckeyes have made good use of rotating defensive ends to stay fresh, and they’ll need that this week against Penix. The biggest goal? Create pressure, of course.

“We just have to make sure he’s uncomfortable,” Tyler Friday said. “I think he’s at his best when he’s comfortable, he has his feet under him. He’s also a bigger quarterback. When he drops back, his ability to see over the line, you can’t let him get comfortable back there. I think our whole goal is to get him off his spot and get the ball out of his hands.”

If the Buckeyes can make Penix’s life miserable in the pocket, the Indiana offense will struggle to move the ball. And the Buckeyes have plenty of ability to do just that.

Shaun Wade has actually been pretty solid outside of two big plays given up to Dotson and a couple of miscues against Rutgers. Sevyn Banks has also been good in his new starting role. But the Cam Brown injury and some up-and-down play at safety have led to some problems at times. Josh Proctor described himself as a bit of a "Swiss Army Knife" and it will be interesting to see how he's utilized on Saturday and moving forward.

Yeah, definitely think this has been discounted in the first few games. Dobbins is definitely missed, but early last year Fields was running more often, especially in the red zone. This year's running game will never be as good as last year's, but the surgical nature of the passing game makes up for it.

Interested to see if Fields runs more this week or they attempt to pass a bit more often due to a much better matchup.

Thank you. This will be interesting to keep an eye on, for certain.

Starting to see “Ohio State should be on upset alert” takes which makes me think Hoosiers are gonna get the brakes beaten off of them.

In these troubled and confusing times I’m having difficulty following some of the technical jargon coming at me lately. Re: the above bolded statement. Who exactly has the brakes? Individual players? The coaching staff? The team in total? And why do they need brakes? More to the point, how is it disadvantageous to them to be separated from said brakes? And why not remove the brakes with the proper tools? It seems as though beating them off would be one of the least efficient ways to achieve your stated goal.

Thank you for your kind attention, I’ll take your answer on the air.

Hoosier train has breaks. Buckeyes are gonna beat them off thus detailing their top 10 ranking.

How many sections are in ohio stadium anyways? Has to be like 50 of them...

What I'd do if I was OSU is I'd partner with a willing business to drive income.

For example partner with Burger King... put 1 scarlet ticket in 50 whoppers around Ohio. Drive revenue to Burger King but Burger King would have to pay us royalties from the sold burgers. Bingo theres just 1 person in each section, everyone thinks they can win, and we get money. Cant lose.
