Indiana 53 Ohio State 77 (Final)

No matter how bad their football team was, IU used to always be able to hang their hats on hoops. Tough year to be a Hoosier. Crean has his work cut out for him.

33-10

Diebler is a great passer.

He's really been distributing the ball well the last couple games.

He makes all sorts of passes. Solid passes to work the offense, nice feeds inside, no-looks to cutters, give-and-go's, he does it all as a passer.

Buford is a REAL good one.

Better than Cook.

Buford can put points on the board quick, from all over the floor.

And he seems to be putting it together in Big 10 play. Cook, while there has to be some allowance for the change in team dynamics upon arrival of Oden into the rotation, seemed to slide during conference play.

This Michigan game is shaping up to be a huge game.

Bucks scored a lot. Hitting 11 3's in a half will do that.

The defensive intensity was getting pretty bad the last part of the 1st half. The Hoosiers had 12 points the first 14 minutes. They got 16 the last 6 minutes. I know it's nit-picking, but the D needs to be there the whole half. I'm not even expecting a full 40 minutes of intense D...it's not going to happen, it's just not that kind of game, players lose focus against these kinds of teams, I expect that. But at least finish out a good half, then slack off after you're up 30 with 10 to play. :p

Simmons is really developing into a good PG.

Diebler is continuing to shoot well.

Buford...I love his game.

That's about it. This will likely be the easiest Big10 game right here.

I suspect Thad will get on them about letting up late in the half. That can happen when you go up 33-10 early, but this team needs to get accustomed to playing hard for 40 minutes. On most nights, that will be necessary to have a chance to win.

Let's put together a good half and cruise on home.
