Nyquil before bed only if necessary, otherwise just a Vicks inhaler and some zinc lozenges. Every cold I had used to turn into bronchitis... cut back on the meds and haven't had an issue since.

Ug. Vicks. Gives me headaches. I feel ya about the bronchitis. I've had pneumonia twice and for years, every single year, I would get a lung infection. The echinacea/goldenseal regimen stopped that.

The shop is down the street, is that local enough? It's from a farm an hour south the same place I buy my apple juice to make cider? Local enough for ya?

echinacea and goldenseal caplets, taken for a week, once a month. zinc drops at the first sign of a cold. hot water, lemon, honey and a shot of whiskey during the cold to soothe the throat and aid in sleep. theraflu works well during, to help relieve the symptoms.

Lots and lots of sudafed. I go through tons of that stuff. Boxes upon boxes.

And for a cold, I usually just take a lot of vitamin C.
