I completely expected that, but i definitely didn't expect to be threatened with being banned and what not... I haven't done anything except point out that the Big Ten has no big out of conference wins, and yes, I was expecting to get yelled out, called names, etc. That's all fine.. I didn't bash the buckeyes as a team... I think their coach is a sham... thought the same thing when he was @ Xavier... you guys really want a bunch of blowhards here or honest buckeye fans? I live and die with the bucks, so I think they deserve to have the best of everything... If you can tell me they didn't get clearly outcoached tonight, ok, but I thought that was obvious... No offense meant, just asking...??

Buckeye fans can't take what they give out, and that is why they are the most hated fan base, so you can just ban me forever.

I understand the intent of the 'no swearing in front of recruits' rule and agree with it, but feel your issuing an embarrassing public warning is excessive.

My post was not directed at or about any current recruit. It was, of course, intentionally derogatory toward someone who I believe deserves it, but it really had very little to do with anyone or anything that a current high school junior or senior would know or care about. And any parent reading it would quickly realize that it was an expression of anger over the previous acceptance of outlaw kids, kids who they probably wouldn't want their sons associating with anyway.

Plenty of swearing goes on on this board in other places -- as it does in high school locker rooms and on high school football fields. If you'll review my posts, you'll see that I very, very rarely use profanity. Your position that this single reference merits the embarrassment of a public warning is over-the-top in my view.

You could just as easily have moved my thread to the Football page (a similar thread was already started there by someone else) where presumably my shocking language would have been tolerable. Although I can't believe you really think that no recruit or parent ever goes there.

In short, I believe my use of the term "horseshit" was a technical violation of your rule, but in no way violated the reasonable intent of the rule -- not to offend recruits and their families or not to reflect negatively on tOSU. Publically embarrassing me out of a puritanical adherence to this rule is ... well ...poppycock.
