I'm going go to OSU-UM game on 11/21 and wanted...

...to know if anyone else here was going.

The primary reason is there are four of us going (including myself). As this will be our first experience at the scUM game in enemy territory, we're interested in tailgating with other Buckeye fans. Strength (and safety) in numbers and all that.

Is there going to be a particular area around the stadium where Buckeye fans will be congregating?

We plan to leave here (Cleveland area) at 8 and hope to be set up and grilling in Ann Arbor by 12 at the latest. Probably after the game for a bit as well.

I hate pissing on plans... but isn't kickoff at 12? Do you not have tickets and just wanted to tailgate? That's cool if that was your plan but if you were planning on going in the stadium to watch you would want to leave earlier.

I was up there in 03 and 05. Both times we tailgated in the Pioneer HS lot diagonal from the stadium. Plenty of Buckeyes around both times. You'll have a great time. The stadium is a real piece of [censored]. Horrible entry and exit from your section, cramped seats, and very few bathrooms. Take a leak right before you go in and try to hold it until after.

If you can head up Friday night, grab a cheap Priceline hotel around the Detroit airport Friday night. Get on the road by 7, you'll be in AA by 7:30 and tailgating by 8 (I think that's when the lot opens).

I don't have the tix with me, but someone mentioned it was at 3:30 this year. When I checked it said "TBD" Maybe I'll have to ask the ticketholder

I'm going up there the day before. The bars are awesome there the night before because there are a good deal of OSU fans already there. I love it! Anybody get tickets from OSU, and if so do they know where they are? I don't have tickets yet, but I'd love to sit in an OSU section. Money isn't a big deal to me for this game...tickets are running pretty cheap. Cheaper than you could get them for if the game were at OSU, so I suggest anybody who ever wanted to go to an OSU/Michigan game get their ass up to Ann Arbor next weekend and find some tickets. Let's flood the place with scarlet and grey and get a Michigan Stadium O-H-I-O cheer going...just like '07.

There's a thread in the ticket forum about that.

I was hoping some students already had tickets in hand and could inform where they were sitting. I doubt all of 1-15 will be OSU fans. Although it should be...everyone should go up there for this one!!! Party in Ann Arbor!!!

It's usually more like sections 12-15. 1 is on the 50 yard line.
