"Schizophrenic" may be a better word. The funny thing is, that defense that so many of them were saying would be "dominant" has looked very average to very bad.

If not for an enormous collapse by Wiscy, these fuckers would be 1-4.

yea

that "dominant" defense is 59th in the country in total defense

Defense not living up to expectations?

NCAA rank: Time of possession

TSUN #116 - 26:23 per game.

Yeah, having to play alongside that offense can't be helping things, but their secondary is still a major weakness. Morgan :slappy: Trent is still the same piece of burnt toast he's been for the past few seasons and their safeties are horrid. They have a solid front four, but an average LB unit. TP and Beanie will shred them.

Say what you want about Trent but I'm glad he's on our team:wink2: Imagine next year when TT, Jamison, Harrison, Trent, and others depart from that defense. Trent is horrible but what does that say about their back-ups? Cissoko is too small to play CB...maybe he will be moved to free safety and replace Harrison. If Graham goes pro early their defense will be average at best next year.

IMO Purdue can beat them and so can NW. I have watched NW this year and they are dangerous. Purdue should have beaten Oregon and should have stayed with 7 versus PSU. Two missed FG's doesn't help your cause versus the nits. If a team has very good WR's they have a chance. A mobile QB and good WR's and you have a hell of a good chance.
