Mizzou was up 37-13 in the 3rd qtr and in total control. But 21 consecutive pts later behind the Illini backup qb (I guess juice got hurt), Ill has brought it to a 3 pt game w/ 13 mins to go.

Easily the most exciting game i've seen today. Illini will be a serious threat next year; and will probably suprise some teams this year. I can't belive they've scored 21 points in like 5 1/2 minutes. Juice went head first and seems to have hurt his neck or got a concussion on the 2nd or 3rd drive of the game.

I think they were saying the helmet crunched his nose a little -- didn't seem to be a concussion or neck injury given that they let him walk off the field and the eye/pupil tests seemed very uneventful. That play made me grimace when I saw it though... could've easily been a dislocated vertebrae or something.
Anyway, what I notice most is that they've got a lot of talent at skill positions. But their Oline seems very very very mediocre-to-poor.

3rd and 7, mizzou qb avoids a sack and runs for a first down. In the process he got ROCKED, looks like both starting QB's are done for the day.

Assume Juice goes back to QB as soon as possible. Tough for McGee, knowing if he won that game their might be some qb controversy, now he rides the bench for 3 more years most likely.

Looks like the same Illini as last year...lots of talent, plenty of athletic guys, some really fine plays...and a bitch-load of mistakes...and few wins.
