Having spent some time over there due to Turner, I've realized that the Wake board may have found it's match... but posting something like this on the front page is a whole new low.

Illini football fans have recently begun to experience the same phenomenon on the free Illiniboard football forum. One would think Illinois' recent losing seasons wouldn't be a threat to our competitors, but they behave as if threatened nonetheless. From this eye, it appears the recruiting prowess of new coach Ron Zook has caught the attention of a number of schools both inside and outside the Big Ten.

Fans and allies of those opposing coaching staffs are now working to help themselves and prevent Illinois from rising back up among the nation's top programs. And they are using all sorts of tactics to stop Zook from recruiting quality athletes to Illinois. We have long heard about "negative recruiting" by coaches

OK. I just can't live with myself. Like so many others, I am consumed with the threat of Illini sports. This causes me to spend hundreds of hours concocting fake identities so that I can put messages on their free fan boards and chase recruits away.

It's absolutely true and that is why such an elite program as those Fighting Illini are finding it hard to attract the same talent that the other major programs attract. Naming Zook as one of the worst coaches in college football this week, on a well-known sports site, is just part of our total onslaught. I feel terrible about this because, well, it's just so wrong. I mean, even the people who sell orange dyes are hurt by the widespread conspiracy, and it is high time I told others about it, asked forgiveness for my role in the conspiracy and sought the help I need.

It's all so unfair, but we can do something about it. You can help me get better if you are all willing to send money to a special BP account, in favor of BP, then I will spend my own money to get the help I really need.

Please send money now. Really, I can't live with myself anymore.

Only you can help. Let's get all of the Illini fans pulling together now.
