If you could change the outcome of one Ohio State football game, which would you choose?

2006 vs Florida was the last time I can remember it being allowed for Ohio State to be "the team" without somebody attempting to shit all over us for something. Losing that one by getting absolutely dominated changed something in CFB.
Hm.. so, am I right in reading that you think that 2007-2025 would be different if Ohio State were to magically win that game?
How would those years be different, and why?
I mean, I'd guess that OSU still loses their Heisman-winning quarterback, plus top three wide receivers, and top running back. Boeckman is still our QB, and Beanie is still our RB... I don't know why we'd expect to beat LSU in 2007. I don't see any reason to believe that Nick Saban doesn't go to Alabama to lead the dynasty there. Tressel still gets fired after 2010.
Maybe it delays the SEC SEC SEC media hype for a year. But I don't think it stops it, or even reduces it.

If we are talking about changing losses for the overall good of the program (not personal pain expungement) I submit one common opponent, two games. Sparty 2013 and 2015.

Likely lets Urban win 2 NC’s and play for 3.

Take the fuckery of 2011 out of it and he probably wins one in 2012 as well.

That stretch doesn’t seem to get talked about as much in historical context for some reason.

no, you're not

I think part of the reason is because the movement that started after that Florida game to shit on all things Ohio State/Non-SEC

Agreed with everything except 2012. I’m confident that 2012 gets absolutely waxed by Alabama.

Wouldn’t they have been playing undefeated Notre Dame, though?
1. I agree that they get smooshed by Bama.
2. How lame would it be if undefeated Notre Dame or undefeated Ohio State gets left out in favor of 1-loss Bama? I 100% believe it would have happened, though.

If you could change the outcome of one Ohio State football game in the Buckeyes' rich history, which game would you change the outcome and why?

1969 loss to Michigan? Which would have given Ohio State back-to-back national championships and mentioned as one of the greatest cfb teams ever?

2015 loss to Michigan State? Does that team go on to repeat as national champions?

1998 loss to Michigan State? Does that team go on to win the national championship and does Cooper get more credit?

2020 national championship game against Alabama?

2006 loss to Florida in the national championship game?

2007 loss to LSU for the national championship?

1976 Rose Bowl loss to UCLA that cost Woody a national championship?

1980 Rose Bowl loss to USC that cost Earle a national championship?

You get the idea, and there may be others that you would select. So which one game would you change the outcome?
If I were to pick one, and only if the butter fly effect of not having Cooper fired 3 seasons later, then its 1998 against Sparty for me.

1996 TCUN is a close second.
