Root is too strong. I hope for a victory for them with my head but as soon as anything goes bad for them I always find myself cheering or at least smiling.

It depends a lot on the opponent as well. I will root for a team of taliban pedophiles if they are playing an SEC team or ND.

1. OSU
2. Big 10
3. Whoever is playing Notre Dame
4. Whoever is playing Florida

So, yes. Always root for the Big 10, It's in our best interest.

I'll second this one. I'll have some tough decisions to make if Notre Dame ever joins the Big Ten.

In bowl games, I always want the Big10 to win, that's not saying I am going to toss on a Mike Hart jersey or anything, and I don't usually watch the game unless it's the only thing on, but the more Big10 wins during the bowl season, the better it is for the overall strength of the conference.

As several others have said, I NEVER really cheer for the weasels, but I do like to see the Big Ten do well in non-conference play, especially bowls. Having said that, however, I don't lose any sleep when they go out and get beat up in a bowl game, either.

You probably don't lose sleep because we are so used to seeing it now.

It depends on the situation for me. If the Big 10 has been making a good showing then likely fuck'em (depending on who they are playing of course)

This year I will likely root for them (that is to say I will sit and not laugh when something bad happens) because I have repsect for Carr and it would be nice of them to send him out a winner.

I typically pull for any Big Ten team in out of conference games (scUM included), because perceived Big Ten strength can only be a good thing for the Buckeyes. But I must admit that during that App St. game in early September, I was literally jumping for joy when they blocked that kick at the end of the game.

Root is far too strong. I most certainly do NOT root for them. But, I'd prefer to see them win for the sake of the conference than to lose. If they do lose, I prefer if they get embarrassed.

Far as I'm concerned skunkbear can win every game of the year, except for the Ohio State game. But .... root for them? No. Fuck no.

I'm with you. I want the Big Ten to win all of their bowl games. But when Tyler Ecker blows the Michigan win against Nebraska, I find it funny, and I don't really care much.

Living here in the south, I have to hear it everyday how the SEC is the strongest conference in college football. Most of those fans point to the Buckeyes because of there poor performance against SEC teams since the 90's. Every year I want all Big Ten teams to hold there own in the bowl games. When I bring up the dominance of Michigan over thier beloved Gators, in the past 5 years, they don't want to hear it. I would love for the Illini to match up against the Gators in the Outback bowl in Tampa and win. What sweet revenge for Zook.

My feelings as well. I'd prefer them to win their bowl game, but if they don't, I really don't give a shit lol
