I still don't see how y'all lost to Purdue by 29.

I actually called out Purdue as the "trap game" on our schedule this year. Certainly Purdue looked like trash today, but there were a couple elements that went into our loss at Purdue.

And for one, while the final score was a blowout, it was a tight game mid-way through the 4th. The game really got away late, which seems to be a common theme any time a team loses a game by multiple scores.....They were destroyed!!!!11!!!!

I think the Purdue game was the function of a pass happy offense that had been overly reliant on Haskins arm, and we got caught up in a typical, crisp, Big 10 weather game where the passing game, while effective, wasn't nearly as dangerous as it would've been in week 1 or 2. It's why you can't always rely on a strong passing game in the Big 10, like some other conferences, because the weather doesn't allow it. I've said it before but there's a reason Andy Dalton is a pro-bowl QB 9 weeks out of the year, and a back-up QB quality player the last 7 weeks.

Haskins numbers ended up being decent in the game, but it felt very empty. Obviously the TD drops were huge as well. Just a game where "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong". Purdue embarrassed the Big 10 today with a terrible performance, but equating what Auburn did to them in Nashville isn't a great comparison to what happened to the Buckeyes in Lafayette.

Are you proud of the way you kept Schiano out of Knoxville?
Not proud, But just glad the way it turned out. Plus, there was a lot of shady shit going on with more than one coach on your staff. But, these guys are human and not perfect. It's a messed up world where folks want to hold the football coach at Ohio State to a higher standard than they do the POTUS. Pretty much sums up whats wrong with things in general.

No. we just produced last years NFL rookie of the year. And kept that POS DC you got out of Knoxville. So we are on the upturn.

Getting beat 38-13 by Vanderbilt to end a losing season is on the upturn?

You aren't even the best college team in your own state but if what Auburn did in a Bowl game gives you some sort of validation then have at it.
