I stand with Jim Tressel.
I stand with the man who has shown full and honest love for each of his players, his university and, to a certain extent, the community that is Buckeye fan-dom at large.
The man has restored the program to a place of honor both on the football field and within the classroom. When someone - anyone - makes a mistake, Tressel is about honest and integrity in dealing with the situation. If a mistake is made he will be the first to man up and take the punishment.
In an increasingly divisive and judgmental world, this man has stood for what is RIGHT in this world over what is expected. He has, all by himself, attempted to positively affect the lives of every person he has come into contact with and he will continue to do as the Head Football Coach of THE Ohio State University.
I stand with the man who worries about his players as a first thought. Consequences be damned, in this situation, he was more worried about his troops. We as a fanbase are EXTREMELY blessed to have this man coaching, teaching and reaching out to the community within our world. We should be wishing there were more like him.
I don't know why I started a different thread for this, I'm sure it'll be merged. I just thought I'd get my .02 in.
September 3rd cannot get here soon enough.
