I say Montana, you say Montanya....

Hmmmm I thought OSU was starting to recruit spread-type QB's, unless Montanya can run.

Would we be going after him if his last name wasn't Montanya.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but you probably want to take a quick read through the spread. Also, NIck's a preseason Rivals 250 four star... and IS a spread QB, much like Troy. White does not always equal Pro Style, just as Black does not always equal Runner. Nick is a true dual-threat.

when you can get the son of a former drug-lord, you have to go for it......

Welcome to De La Montanya Winery & Vineyards
Montanya is a winery and vineyard, the family is from California, but
don't think they would appreciate being called former drug lords.

Diego Montoya on the other hand is the drug-lord, the former Colombian cocaine trafficker on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Do you really think that Jim Tressel is going to go after a guy because of his last name?

Actually one could make a reasonable argument that he has done so in the past with a couple of the legacy players that we have taken. Not to say those guys were not worthy, but there may have been one or two who may not have been offered otherwise.

This is not a legacy situation.

This is a situation where the staff really likes a kid who has a lot of interest in them. Turns out his last name is Montana.
