I think it is more about the fact that if you are a smoker you are more likely to get out of your chair at 2:30 for a smoke break.

Age old argument here at work:

Smoker: I'm going to take a smoke-break
Non-Smoker: You smokers take more breaks than anybody. Do you think that is really fair?
Smoker: Did anybody tell you that you COULDN'T take a break?
Non-Smoker: DUH!!!

I hate it when non-smokers complain that smokers get more breaks than anybody. Nobody tells you that you can't take a break. You choose not to take a break because you don't have anything to do with that time.

I agree with you Crump's Brother, start smoking and that will get you moving enough to make it through the rest of the day. :pimp:

If I made as many trips to the break room, or spent near as much time as smokers do out back smoking, I'd be fired in less than a week.

can i come over to work with you? i think we might go to Swensons tomorrow fo lunch, thats usually pretty good, but i would rather have your lunch

Sure; come on over! Just be sure to bring your own grub. Also, they're expecting us to do something productive tomorrow afternoon, so no beers. (I know, what are they thinking?)

No matter what i eat, or what i do for lunch i always hit the brick wall around 230ish, i just get so tired.

Cut the carbs out of your lunches. I used to have this same problem and told my doctor about it during a yearly check-up. He told me to try cutting the carbs out of lunch. After about a week of low carb lunches, I didn't have the problem any more.

Of course, I only stayed with this lunch diet for about two months, so I am back to where I started.
