My roommate had a bunch of girls over to the apartment for a party last night and I drank way too much. I'm paying the price today, but even better my office Christmas party is tonight so it is going to happen all over again thanks to the open bar. Why does my head hurt more now than back when I was in college and did this a couple times a week? Getting older sucks!
 
drink more water before you go to bed next time.... heck, while you're drinking, have a glass of water every now and then at the bar... goes a long way in helping the next moring (graned it does make you "go" more :( )

I feel for ya...

I stumbled home around 1:30 last night...my breath still tastes like Kettle One.

A friend of mine always keeps a jug of water next to the bed when he gets fit-shaced...and he always feels better than the rest of us after a bender. I need to start doing that too...

I know. Funny back when I was single it seemed like every party that I went to was full of sausage. Now that I have a girlfriend I get parties with 8 girls and 2 guys.

Hangovers suck. When I was in college and my drinkin' chops were finely honed, I could drink quite a few beers without too much worry about the next morning. However, I frequently drank WAY too much and wound up with super-huge, monster hangovers. I don't miss that at all. The last time I really had a hangover was Nov. 1, 1997.

Getting old and out of drinking shape is a bitch, I agree. Now, I'll bet I'd get a headache without much beer at all, and I'd be ready for bed by 11:00 or so. If I tried to really go on a big bender like we used to do in college, I'd probably just puke my guts out and die.

There are two recommended solutions here:

First: As was stated above, lots of fluids (non-alcoholic :biggrin: ) before bedtime and upon waking. I think Gatorade/Powerade is best.

Second: Don't stop drinking. :biggrin:

They were all relatively attractive. Some more than others. One of them had a digital camera and took some pics. She said she puts them on her AOL profile, but I'm not sure what her ID is and can't use AOL at work anyway. My roommate gave me his camera so I spent about the last hour of the party telling the girls to look slutty and taking pics of them. On the bright side I'm not in any of the pics so I can't get in trouble. None of them were wearing skirts like a couple of the girls at the last party. At that party one of the girls didn't realize that she had to keep her legs crossed when she was sitting down. The best thing about drunk college girls is I keep getting older, but they stay the same age.
