I currently play Xbox, but let's face it, when

I move up to the next generation system, I probably won't play very many of my old games, so what would be the advantage of staying with an Xbox system, (360)

With that said, how many of you are considering a PS3 instead of Xbox360? I am primarily talking to the Xbox owners, but anyone else feel free to offer advice.

I've got both an XBox and 360. I thought I just read that Sony came out and said recently that not all their PS2 games would work on the PS3. Perhaps I'm wrong. I went with the 360 when I saw it go on sale early this year for $299 at Costco.

As a side note, Maddox had a funny rant about Sony here.

Something to consider: I just went to Amazon, they're going to be selling Xbox360 CORE systems for $100, hard to wrong there.

So basically this is a PS3 vs 360 question, donny?

Many have addressed that here:

Well, actually I was curious whether most Xbox owners would stay loyal to the brand or would they consider switching to the Sony brand.

Now that I have searched through your link, I am very appreciative of the information gained from it.

By the way, do you "search" before you do everything. I am not to keen on the "search" function, but who knows, maybe improvement is on the horizon.
