Michigan STate has no purpose other than to take students/athletes not good enough to get into UM. The state revolves around UM. Michigan STate could disappear and nobody would really care.

I say we pass a rule that any B10 team that loses to a 3 win MAC team has to leave. Which team from the state up north does that eliminate?

Will a President ever speak at MSU? If they did, would anybody pay attention?
MSU has the least academic cred of any Big 10 school...and it isn't even close. For that reason alone, they would be the first to leave if we ever "contracted"

I vote to drop Michigan State. I can't think of many benefits from them other than a strong men's basketball team.

But on academics, and this is from where I am coming... MSU brings up the rear of the Big 10 in many academic rankings. So they got my vote.
Jaxbuck;1699011; said:Are you really on an OSU board trying to play the little brother argument?
They haven't embarrassed the B10 with losses to a MAC school or 1AA school lately. They have one of the best basketball programs in the country and last time I checked scUM, not MSU, was under NCAA investigation.
Sell your scUM spin elsewhere, no one here is buying.
