This time of year everyone is gearing up for the annual Wolverine hunt. :osu:
(Ironically enough Youth Gun season opens on the day of the Big Game.)

Personally I have never been deer hunting, probably a worse shot than Dick Cheney to be honest. But I'd be surprised if there were not a slew of folks who do hunt, or have hunted, and do post on BP.

I know that every year around this time the parking lots at work are partially empty, and not just of the folks that some might assume would be avid hunters. What I'm getting at is that the hunters you want to speak to (well the muzzle-loader crowd anyway) are likely off in the woods doing their thing. Deer season for muzzle-load closes on Saturday though, so bump the thread on Sunday and get all their war stories!

I imagine you are picking a fight because why else would you read a hunting thread if you are against it. Deer actually do overpopulate. Starvation is the number one killer not being shot.

if you use the meat whats wrong with hunting? Do you eat burgers or chicken or fish? its the same thing. if you hunt just to kill and waste the meat then you shouldn't be hunting, but most people are responsible and use the meat.
