color me unimpressed with Kentucky. Needed a last second shot to beat Miami of Ohio. Wall is going to be great though.

That game was on down in my neck of the woods. Miami has a good little team and might win their conference. Pretty athletic.

Look to be a bracket buster for sure.

I am at Ohio University so I see them a few times a year. I agree with what you are saying, just with all that talent I was surprised to see Kentucky struggle so much. I fully expect Kentucky to get better as the season progresses, but that takes time. OU is also fairly athletic and had their way with the redskins last year.

I would think Alabama losing at home to Colgate is a bigger piece of news than Iowa losing to UTSA.

Alabama lost to Cornell, two-time defending Ivy League champions, not Colgate.

SEC fans are nowhere to be found during basketball season for a reason

Georgia lost to Wofford tonight

to accompany Alabama and Moo State

not to Mention Auburn getting pretty much handeled by Missouri State

and Kentuckys near escape against a less than spectacular Miami OH team

I guess the "dominance" of the conference doesnt carry over from football to basketball

Iowa just got another loss to Duquesne 52-50 in Iowa city
Sure glad we hired the right ex-Butler coach. Iowa looks to struggle for as long as Lickliter calls Iowa City home. We might hear Keno Davis's name mentioned as a replacement candidate come February.

OK, but they are from the Ivy League, no? Saying a team's the best from the Ivy is like picking the prettiest of a bunch of ugly people. The entire league hasn't won a game in the NCAAs in over a decade, IIRC.

State Penn is what they are, good in football, and excellent in some sports, but purely pedestrian in others, including obviously Mens BBall. Crean and IU will be better this year and by the end of the year with some seasoning might suprise some teams, hopefully not our Bucks, but they are still a work in progress.
