HP/Logitech wireless connection

Moved last week. Prior to move, HP computer and wireless Logitech keyboard worked fine. Set up the equipment at the new place, and now the HP doesn't recognize my keyboard. Replaced keyboard batteries just in case, but it made no difference.

No evidence of damage to keyboard. Everything else on HP seems fine.

I've tried running searches for new device, get message "no device found,"

Am I forgetting something? It's been over a year since I added the keyboard. Should I be looking for an installation disk?

Really getting tiresome having to do all typing on my tablet (but I'm darn lucky I have one, seeing as how it's all I've got now.)

Does the computer recognize the dongle being plugged in? Did you plug it into the same port?

I would go to Logitech's website and download the drivers and/or software for your keyboard and/or mouse. Try a different USB port on your PC with the dongle perhaps?

Yeah, guys, Thank You!

Basically, I knew I was forgetting something, but couldn't think what. When I moved last week, I'd thrown the usb attachment into a drawer without looking at it, thinking it was my Belkin wireless adapter. It had been so long since I installed the keyboard, I'd forgotten it needed a connection to the computer to recognize the wifi. So, your comments reminded me of the "dongle" and I'm happily typing on my much more convenient full-size keyboard instead of the mini-touchscreen.

Given the number of things that went south with this move, it's very nice to have something work out right.
