Best Buckeye

Pretending I'm a pleasant person is exhausting.

Best, sorry to hear about your friend. I read the whole obit and that was quite a life. Of course my (5th or 6th) favorite part is him liking fishing and attending St Joseph's in Maumee. If I lived up there I'd turn myself into a fake Catholic in the spring, check out some Palm and Easter Sunday services and get the waders on and wander down to the towpath. (I might find religion for good parking to the walleye run).

I'm sure he will be missed and thanks for sharing this.

Thanks AKAK,
Couldn't help but notice that you must really suck at fishing if you need all that help from God. ... I on the other hand have fished the Walleye run since 1970 I believe. I know all the holes and when to fish, to the point where in my heyday could catch over 200 LEGAL fish during the run in the Maumee river. Now I only get to fish in a side cut channel and get maybe 2 fish a year. But I still love to get out.
Thanks to others in here too!

Well I can always use local knowledge. It's almost 5 hours round trip for me, so I only get to go a couple times, so it's hard to learn much more than going to Buttonwood or Orleans or Jerome. We learn new more thing every year but it's a shallow curve.
