If our defense steps up I think we have a chance at finishing 8-3.
But Purdue wants revenge. We'll most likely lose to the Boilermakers.

Edit: That is if Orton plays healthy.

I was petrified of the 1st half team MSU showed, but sadly (and fortunately) Stanton got injured. I think we can contain and match the speed of MSU much better than UM did.

However I don't see OSU's offense outperforming itself 3 games in a row. Hopefully that means they close the season well.

It's Michigan State. Their defense is worse than Indiana's.

Oh how I want them to finish 3-0. That would make our postseason respectable. I still think Purdue will be the tough test. There is still two weeks to see if they can bounce back though.

In some respects they are weak, but they were getting great pressure on the quarterback against much better* offensive lineman from up north.

* - This rating probably has very little to do with actual talent and a lot to do with coaching and preparation during practice.

We stub our toe at Purdue b/c we can't get a pass rush - but beat the TSUN.

scUM and MSU beating the shit out of each other helped our cause greatly.

I'm gonna say it right now...becuase I truely believe it. After the heartbreaking lost MSU had they will come out flat against Ohio State...Purdue is screwed...Tiller is an idiot sitting Orton, that team is moving down way fast, and we are moving up...and Tressel is at home against scUM. Tressel and the boys wait all year for this one, and it doesn't matter what the record is...we can win...look at 2001. So I say we surprise a hurt, flat MSU team next Saturday...then we play a Purdue team who goes to Iowa next week...which means Purdue could likely have a 4 game losing streak going into the Ohio State game...talk about being lucky and getting a team while they are down...this game has seemed to usually be close recently, but we seem to get the best of Purdue each year...especially when they are not in the hunt for a Big 10 title...and then Tressel and the boys will come home 7-3 and ready to beat the crap out of scUM. We are going 3-0...I can feel it. And imagine what going 4-0 with a bowl win will do. 9-3 with a bowl and Michigan win would be more sucessful than last year to me at least. GO BUCKS! KEEP THE FAITH :)

I really can't say, I'm not sure if we've made enough offense improvement the last 2 games because Indiana and Penn State are cupcakes. I like our chances a lot better now against Purdue after their struggles, and MSU without Stanton but on the road neither game will be easy. I think those two games are toss ups but I always like our chances at home. I really think the end of this season comes down to how well the offense plays. If they get it done and get a little late season surge like last year there's no reason we couldn't win all three games.
