The game starts at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC (channel 1006 on Time Warner Columbus/Delaware).
It may not have been as pretty as we hoped it would be, but Cardale Jones led the Buckeyes to a 38-0 win over Hawaii last week. (Sure is nice to be in a position where a shutout isn't considered impressive enough.) This week, the Buckeyes face off against MAC powerhouse Northern Illinois. As certain SEC teams learned last week, you should never underestimate the MAC. The fact that Northern Illinois has been to the MAC championship game every season since 2010 and has won three of those years is just further proof that Ohio State can't afford to look any further ahead than today's 60 minutes on the gridiron. Neither can you, so don't miss a second.
When and where is the game today?
The Huskies are coming to Columbus. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET.
How do I watch it from home?
The game will be on ABC with an ESPN2 reverse mirror. What's a reverse mirror, you ask? It means that, if the game isn't on ABC at your house, then it's on ESPN2. The whole country gets to watch the Buckeyes this week. The game will also be available on WatchESPN, provided that you have a login. Our TV crew for the game will consist of Mike Patrick, Ed Cunningham, and Dr. Jerry Punch. (The man is a physician and a college football commentator, you guys!) Paul Keels and the gang will also be calling the game on 97.1 FM The Fan or your local Ohio State radio network affiliate.
If you want to know for sure which channel is right for you, check out the map below.
How've the Huskies done so far?
Northern Illinois is 2-0 this year. They ended last season with a MAC Championship and a loss to Marshall in the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl. Though they aren't ranked, Head Coach (and Indiana alumnus) Rod Carey has led NIU to a 25-6 record.
Where can I find Kirk Herbstreit's bow tie this week?
The GameDay crew is headed south for No. 15 Ole Miss at No. 2 Alabama. Both teams are entering SEC play this year undefeated. Well, Alabama did lose a game back in January, but that doesn't count. Bama has already beaten a top 25 opponent, knocking off then-No. 20 Wisconsin in week 1, while the Rebels have put up a combined 149 points in their first two games. Both teams have their sights set high this season. This could get ugly. That game starts at 9:15 p.m. on ESPN and WatchESPN.
What's the B1G schedule for the day?
We've got some excitement early on in the day, so make sure you put off all those errands you were going to run until later. 12 of the 14 teams in the conference won last week. Let's see if we can keep it up.
At noon, you can watch Illinois at North Carolina, South Florida at Maryland, UNLV at Michigan, Kent State at Minnesota, and Airforce at No. 4 Michigan State, with No. 23 Northwestern kicking off at Duke 30 minutes later.
At 3:30 p.m., in addition to the Buckeyes, we've got Nebraska at Miami (FL), Virginia Tech at Purdue, and Troy at No. 24 Wisconsin. Western Kentucky at Indiana starts half an hour later at 4 p.m.
At 8 p.m., you can watch Pittsburgh at Iowa and Rutgers at Penn State.
If you need more football, and you know you do, the chart below has everything you need. Enjoy.
