Fellow Buckeyes,
Please help me out here. I am a student at OSU and am curently working out here in California..people here do not have the same passion for football as us buckeyes..there are grads from a few other pac-10 schools working here..I would like to set up some pool..to put money on certain teams and get this people more motivated and have some more football conversations:)..but I have no clue to how it should be done. Any pointers??

Thanks

Here's an idea.. college football pickem

Take top 25 games, get the line, have you buddies pick any 5 games, pick the winners against the spread. Have them rank which games, 5 for most 1 for least, that they feel most confident about. Person with most points wins... Tie break each week, total score of Ohio State game, or teh USA today #1 team and opponent.. whatever...

Hope that makes some sense.

Almost forgot... Make sure you take 35 bucks from each participant and put it in a pool.. whatever the total pot is, divide it by the number of weeks, and pay out that amount to the "weekly winner" or set up a end of the season winner.. pay the top 3, top 5, winner take all.. whatever you want. Do not take a cut of the money - (Nothing for the house, that is) unless you live in a state that has legalized this kind of gambling... in Ohio, as long as the people who run it don't take a cut of the pot, (unless they win, of course) it's not illegal.
