How many regular season games will Ntre Ame win in 2008?

The stat nerd part of my brain has two favorite teams:

:osu: and :bigten: teams playing non-conference opponents

The beer drinking sports geek part of my brain begs to differ:

:osu2: and anyone who humiliates :scum2:

Michigan v. Notre Dame.....

I can only imagine the copious amounts of humor that game will provide me. One thing I can be sure of... which ever team wins that game will have a fan base which cites it as proof that they're legit. Whichever team's fans gets said "honor" will also be wrong.

Starting CB Darrin Walls, one of (if not THE) most talented players on the team, has left the school for "personal reasons."

Ouch...that definitely hurts NoD's defensive backfield. Enough to change anyone's opinion on this vBet?

Note - The bowl game is not included, of course, that wouldn't have mattered last year.

To paraphrase Professor Harold Hill of The Music Man:
Either you are closing your eyes to the truth you do not wish to acknowledge or you are unaware of the caliber of disaster reperesented by the presnce of a Notre Dame victory over ANY Big 10 team.

Wake the fuck up!

Breath deep, look at the schedules, look at the distribution of media outlets, look at history, realize the importance of SOS, understand that aside from Michigan, USC and MSU this is a weak ND schedule, be aware that if both teams have equal W/L records ND will get the better bowl bid. Now allow logic to overtake passion in your thinking.

Nov. 01 Pittsburgh - Loss

Nov. 08 at Boston College - Loss

Oct. 11 at North Carolina - Win

Thank you for the correction. I certainly hope for a Purdue win, I just don't see it in the realm of possibilities. In fact, I don't think the Big 10, with the exception of OSU and MSU, is going to be that strong this season. I will still hope that all Big 10 teams win all of their OOC contests, especially when playing Notre Dame.
