How many QB snaps will Henton get vs. LSU?

I think he either gets zero snaps or we will play sparingly. I can see him coming in on a key 3rd and 2 and running for a first down or in the red-zone. He may be more situational.

I would love to see it, but I don't see Tressel doing it. It would be pretty cool to see Tressel cornhole Les Miles's mind by running some read option plays with Henton. But this is a big-time game, and Tressel didn't get to where he is in his career, or get this Buckeye team to where they are by trying to confuse the goose. He's going to go back to Tressel-Ball. Ball control, strong defense, and huge special teams plays. When you want to control the ball, you would typically give it to the guy who's already run the offense for 99% of the plays. Choosing the more experienced guy also is a safe pick.

Dennis Dodd is buying into Henton getting some snaps.

This just in from the Ohio State camp: Watch for little-known quarterback Antonio Henton to get "10 to 15 percent" of the snaps against LSU in the BCS title game. The Ohio State coaches apparently like Henton's dual purpose ability. The redshirt freshman played in four games, threw six passes (one for a touchdown) and rushed nine times for 41 yards.

Henton shouldn't get any snaps IMO

He has been on the field very little this season. Not to mention his qustionable judgment off the field. I would be surprised and alarmed if he did play more than in a gimmick situation. It would mean Todd is not playing well, and we are not running the ball well(s) either. I say no to Henton!

questionable off-field judgement?

do you know anything about the real situation? Henton has been impressing the coaches all year, he played well with his limited time and I for one would love to see him on the field.

I agree. I was on the Henton bandwagon at the beginning of the season, then Todd started playing really well (even getting mentioned as a Heisman candidate on an edition of the Budweiser Hot Seat) when Henton was suspended. Toward the end of the season, I was again calling for Henton to get some more PT, and that is where I still sit. I do have confidence in Boeckman though, and feel that we can beat LSU only using him.
