You mean, if hypothetically there were a security clearance?
Actually, I think his name is "K"...I thing Sandg is 'Scarlet and gray'Hmmmm.... Do we trust Sand with the proper security clearance?![]()
I just thought that I was being kept out of the loop. Which is fine, because I tend to be more linear anyway.Minor thing that irks me about merged threads is the "You do not have permission ... to view" statement that the system brings up, instead of a pointer to the new thread.

:tongue2:
I'd bet you're correct on the S and G part, but I'd say his name isn't K, but that it does stand for Keith...![]()
Sounds to me like you are upset with losing authorship of all the threads you start without bothering to use the search function first...
I'm not a real big fan of the merged threads (and, for the record, I don't believe that any thread I've started has become the victim of a hostile takeover by a pre-existing similar thread). I don't prefer them mainly because a thread is only appealing to me if it is 3-5 pages or less(unless it's one of those threads where reading it all doesn't matter...ie-Al Gore invented, This or that, etc...). I hate the way the football sections have went to lumping everything pertaining to a given player under his own thread (mainly for the same reasons). I was never one to reach for the "thick" books when it came time for a book report. But....to each, his/her own.
Does one lose credit for a "post" when you put it under another poster's post? If so, then I'm all for the ensuing controversy. So would it help you if, instead of merging threads about one topic into one big thread, we merged posts about one big topic into one post?
