This season's team ('11-'12) IMO is potentially the most talented team in school history. The roster is stacked with talent and might have up to 8 or even 9 future NBA players on it. How many, and which players do you guys think will at the very least make an NBA roster?

Which player will make the best NBA player?

I think I'm the only one who consciously didn't vote for DeShaun Thomas. It's not like I don't want him to do well but in the league if your 6'6" (trust me, he's 6'6") you're either big and play extremely well in the post (think DaJuan Blair), or are slim and play on the perimeter. DST is big and plays on the perimeter. The only comp I can think of is Glen Davis, who is kind of an anomaly, but also plays good D and has great post skills. Not saying it ain't possible, just don't think all of pieces to the puzzle will fall. Voting Q, Scott, and Thompson over him was probably a bad idea, but they are more unknowns so who knows.

7 players i had no doubt will make it to the NBA
Sully, DT, SS, Sibert, LR, ST, WB
2 on the fringe
AC, AW

Im surprised sibert doesnt have more votes his offensive aresnal is exciting, like Lighty some team will pick him up.

however players i see have a decent impact in the NBA (Atleast a role player)
i see 4 maybe 5.

I actually voted for Deshaun when I set up the poll but after I thought about it he really has a lot of work to do. Deisel has reportedly lost 10 lbs in offseason workouts so that should improve his mobility. He looked to lumber around like a big man (Center) last season so being in top shape is a must for Thomas IMO. I ultametly think he'll make a roster though.

If we are talking about players that at the very least make a roster than i think all of these guys have a legit chance. The NBA drafts players on potential way more than other sports (MLB does too). With that said, the freshmen will obviosly just be a guess going off of potential. I voted for the top 9 on the list below. I also think these 9 will be our rotation with Raven possibly playing a role too against bigger teams or foul trouble.............

___No Brainers___

Jared Sullinger
Amir Williams
William Buford

___Good Chance___

Deshaun Thomas
Shannon Scott
Sam Thompson
LaQuinton Ross

___Borderline___

Aaron Craft
Jordan Sibert

___Not Probable___

J.D. Weatherspoon
Lenzelle Smith Jr.
Evan Ravenel
Trey McDonald

Im going to have to strongly disagree with you having Amir Williams under a no brainer, he looks great on paper/airport test but he has alot more work to do on the offensive end that many people are ready to admit. True i've never seen him play an organize game (I dont really count AAU as organize because most teams don't have systems) but he really disappears on the offensive end. his footwork is spotty and his touch isnt there to be a no brainer NBA player. He will score a number of points due to scott and crafts passing and penetrating ability but scouts don't necessarily just look at the score card but rather how the points are scored. The effort is definetly not there which could change because being 6'9-6'11 in high school you are guranteed playing time for whatever team you play for hs or aau. Spening signficant time on the bench this year will either flip a switch making him understand he needs to work harder or he could be frustrated and go to a school where he can continue to get what he wants.

I think Crafty will get a look in the NBA just because he gets some many comparisons to Scott Skiles
Craft will make it and,,,
I would go with Steve Nash because, he's athletic like Nash. Took along time for Nash to develop in the NBA . How many MVPS didn't start for a couple years in the NBA then, win 2. great story but,,,,,
