How many Bucks go in 1st Rd. this year?

A couple of you dont seem to be on the right page... Quinn is referring to Pitcock... not Brady...

As the thread title states... we're talkin about OSU first rounders.. so Brady Quinn isnt even in this discussion.

Who isn't on the right page? I assumed everyone knew Quinn referred to Pitcock.

I think he goes 1st day for sure and probably in the second round because of his versatility.

Smith - Top 15
Ginn - Top 15
Pitcock - Top 20
Pittman - 2nd round
Datish - 2nd round
Downing - 3rd round
Patterson - 3rd round
Mitchell - 3rd round
Smith - 4th round
Richardson - 5th round

Just how I see things, obviously combines and pro day has a ton of influence on how things go down.

This looks like a solid list. I think Ginn's spot depends a lot on who whats WR's this year. I think he's the 3rd WR taken after Johnson and Jarett. Consider last year 2 WR went in the 1st round and Holmes was first somewhere around 22 (to Pitt and Jackson to NE was the other at the bottom of the round).

I still think that Gonzo and Pittman come back as obvious not first round picks. Nothing to base it on but my gut.

First rounders would be Ginn(top 10)and Pitcock. Troy will be a second round selection. IMO, the worst thing that could happen to Troy would be to go in the first round. He needs to go to a team that doesn't need a QB right away. He needs time to sit and learn. If you are a first rounder, you probably won't get that chance. IF he is forced to play right away, he won't make it, IMO. I was surprised to see a recent draft article that listed Gonzo as a late first round selection, if he came out. This was based on the contention that this year's draft is weak in the WR group. After watching Whitner get drafted so high, I wouldn't be surprised by anthing that happens. It's a total crap shoot. All you need is one team to fall in love with you and you are in the first round.

Santonio went to Pitt with the 25th overall pick and was the only wide reciever picked in the 1st round. Chad Jackson went in the 2nd.
Last year's draft class was weak, holmes made a great decision. He may be a better pure WR than Teddy, but teams will love Ginn's potential.

I'd be shocked if the top-3 WRs aren't first rounders.

Teddy (Top 10)
Quinn (Late 1st)
Troy (Late 1st)

Troy's chances are good for late first round...but that can change depend on who all goes from Junior class (i.e. J. Russell and B.Brohm). Though Troy is better than both, you can never ever underestimate the predictability of idiots GMs in Detroit, Cleveland, and Oakland.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Troy go in the Top 10, especially if Cleveland feels the pressure to avoid the V. Young mistake of the 2005 draft.

Good point but I think it'll be too tempting to pass on Jake Long or Joe Thomas if they're available. Cleveland needs o-linemen.
