How long will you keep your tree up?

Buckin' A

Veritas Aequitas
I know some people that will take their tree and decorations down the day after Christmas. We will leave ours up until the second week in January. I don't even want to think about climbing up there and getting the lights off the house either.

Please proceed directly to the "Bah Humbug" thread...

blame my wife... she's the one who did it.

all I'd have to do was walk by and about 5lbs of needles fall off... it looked like I emptied a bag of grass clippings from the lawn mover on the floor.

When there's wood in our house, my wife says it should remain as long as possible. I'm not sure what she meant by that.

She also said that I can throw the tree out before I head to Arizona on January 3rd, since she'd have all the wood she can handle while I'm gone. I guess I'll find some new trees when I get back.

If December 25th is the first day, January 6th is day #13. :tongue2:
Wiki
It's a matter of faith not arithmetic
The Twelve Days of Christmas and the associated evenings of those twelve days (Twelve-tide), are the festive days beginning the evening of Christmas Day (December 25) through the morning of Epiphany on (January 6). The associated evenings of the twelve days begin on the evening before the specified day. Thus, the first night of Christmas is December 25?26, and Twelfth Night is January 5?6.

What is this "tree" that you're all yapping about?
They look like the pole on stand here, except that they are bigger, taller, greener and full of lights.
