I'm looking to buy a house, but the one that that I am looking at has 2 or 3 small leaks in the roof. The house already needs a lot of work but water damage isn't going to help. I wish it would stop raining long enough for me to buy the house and get a new roof put on. That will only take a month or 2. :p

Last year the director of my department here at work scheduled an offsite meeting sometime early in June. The meeting was an all-day affair at a campsite out in the boonies and she reserved several campsites for any of us who wanted to camp out later that night. As it turned out, we were hit with a veritable deluge of rain and it didn't let up all day. It was so heavy that I could hardly see anything on the road driving up. Needless to say, the event was mostly a wash (no pun intended) and we spent most of the day huddling under a shelter. I couldn't believe how bad the timing of the event was.

True Madness Requires Significant Intelligence
Today is the coolest here since March and I am loving it. Low was probably around 40, high will be mid to upper 60's. It is sunny and we have not had rain since hurricane Rita. I laugh because my kids say winter is here.:)
