Really. In Georgia you can drive 9 over without being worried, some local speed traps notwithstanding. Driving through Atlanta, I've had my doors blown off by cops when I was doing 70+ in a 55. I think 80 must be their threshhold, because I got ticketed at 82 once.

Here's a story from last month;
An officer who wanted to help a man with a stalled car ended up towing the car and taking the man to jail. Just before 4:00 Monday afternoon an officer stopped to help get a stalled car out of the road near Crawford and Santa Fe.
The man asked the cop to get inside the car so he could push it. Inside the car the officer noticed the smell of marijuana and found a marijuana cigarette and a plastic bottle used as a smoking device.
52-year-old Louis Mondlane of Salina was arrested for felony possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Just another fine example of the type of people I deal with each day in the great city of
Salina!

Da Burg drivers are also notoriously leery of the Jersey walls separating 376. I'll give them a nod on one aspect, they do the best merge down to one lane from two I have ever seen, anywhere.
