America's Jesse Owens, set six world records in 45 min at Ann Arbor, Michigan, on May 25, 1935, with a 9.4 sec 100 yd, a 8.13 m (26 ft 8 in) long jump, a 20.3 sec 220 yd (and 200 m), and a 22.6 sec low hurdles (and 200 m.).
