How difficult is it to get tickets???

I am an Ohio State fan through marriage. I love my husband very much and for his birthday (August) I am planning a trip to Columbus to visit his family over Labor Day weekend. For our 1 yr anniversary (September) I would LOVE to get him tickets to the game that weekend. Realistically, what are my chances of getting two tickets without having to sell our non-existent first born child?

Generally speaking, openers will generate solid but not extreme interest like Big Ten openers or marquee games (Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin or a big out of conference opponent).

Last year was a very rare one, which saw ticket prices plummet due to the scandal, which stretched on throughout the year. So whatever you do, don't base it on stories from last season.

This year it is different from most years, since this is the first game for the new head coach with a radically different offense & approach.


Face Value is $75

You should be able to find a decent pair for around $200. You might be able to find a seller on here that will sell them for face value, but that depends on interest. Most people are going to be eager to see this game and would only give it up for the right price.
