How did you get to "The Planet"?

^ agreed, TillEYEdie is a good guy, but he refers to this place as hypocrite planet. I usually contest him when he talks about how this place sucks, but usually it is not worth it.

Yeah, well, maybe I judged too harshly, and/or too soon. The guy has a buttload of posts, and the only ones that really jumped out at me are the ones where BP are mentioned. That's the problem that I have most with BN. Nobody really stands out over there anymore. It's hard to sift through all the idiots, and find the good posters, so basically I just lump them all into the idiot, or jackass category. My bad. :!

Agree with what Dubs said. I pretty much left BN during the fallout that ensued after Clarity and Mili's eviction. I was already feeling pretty salty for multiple reasons, mostly the hypocrisy of the BN administration over their rapid evolution into basically an all-pay site (after swearing in a post that he would keep as much free as possible), the treatment of long-time, respected posters, the preferential treatment that newbie flamers from Cryami received, and the overall decline in IQ of the average BN poster. Other than that, it's a good site...

Anyways, I was making some pretty loud statements on BN about my grievances, and somebody (may have been 21) told me about this site. I came, and still haven't left.

OSUGRAD21 clued me in to this site from my BN message box. Had been over here, but not really to post. Mainly to read and get viable info. This is where I go for credible and informative info. Thanks again OSUGRAD21.

It all started when my previous paint chip supplier got sent....uhhh...upstate for a looooong vacation.

In between there were many super cool adventures as I searched the world for a new source of Buckeye info..a story not unlike The Goonies.

I am an OZone junkie, but they don't cover recruiting and when BN turned to shit a few years ago I came here and never looked back...

Not necissarily, my man. I can post, I just choose not to and exactly for the sentiments you expressed:

Yep. The last great month on BN was December '02, right before the Fiesta Bowl. It was raucous that month with Buckeyes and Canes fans going at each other like dogs. After that, the riff-raff exploded on the site spewing the most useless attention-grabbing posts possible (that had nothing to do with the Bucks), moronic posts like 'KRENTZEL 4 HEISMAN', and the new people weren't likable or interesting. They also never watched the ISP IDs and you had too many psychos with 100 different aliases posting on the site.

And the big 'banishment craze' hurt the site as well: and I don't mean just the Regulars: occasionally its a good thing to have a TomInDayton or ohiowvufan to fight with and make fun of, but those people got axed.

Back to the thread topic, see above and that's how I ended up at BP. I am shocked at how big this site has grown from where it started at.
