How bad are I-270, 33E?

So I'm supposed to have company this weekend and she was going to leave tonight. Wondering for those of you that have travelled on 270 & 33 what the conditions are really like. I've checked multiple weather/news sites and can't really get a consistent feel. I don't want to send her into a death trap, but she really wants to come. Also, if anyone knows anything on I-77 south...that'd be great input too.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Anyone know? Kinda antsy here. :)

agreed. i'm heading down 315 to 71 S to orient to get a contract signed here in a few minutes, i'll report back but my buddies who use 270 didnt have fun last night

70 and 270 are pretty clear
not sure of 33
isn't 77 near Cambridge? That may be a different story Muskingum county just came off level III.

I think the major roadways will be good by the end of the day

A guy that works for me is coming back from Kentucky on 75 to Atlanta then over here tomorrow, or he may come down to Knoxville, then over. I can let you know more tomorrow. He's coming back here to MB.

She was thinking about leaving tonight around 10 (she likes to drive at night)...but tomorrow is still a very good option. Just want to make sure she gets here ok...at the same time, if everything was clear by tonight, I'd love to have her here tomorrow morning.

Thanks so far to everyone who has contributed and coastal...I'll look forward to that report. :) She will be going down 33 to 77...unless 70E is a safer route...we'll see. She can get here in 10 hours by 33 to 77.

exactly. From what I have heard from talking to my parents is that teh southern part of the state is pretty much a sheet on ice right now.

I don't think I would want to be driving that route (and that far) at night by myself.

She's insistant like that...I can't even ask her not to drive at night. She just likes it. As far as weather goes...she'll stop for ice and things like that...so tomorrow it is perhaps. I would have thought the crews would have had time to clean up all major roadways and interstates and things by now, but everyone is saying pretty much no.
