How are your non-BP fantasy FB teams doing?

I honestly don't know, I didn't even realize there was a consolation bracket. I think this is the first year we've done this.

I guess it would have helped if I had mentioned it's a keeper league. I don't really know what you could give as a reward if it resets every year.

Won my semifinal 114-98 to get to the pay level at the finals :banger:

Thank you WRs. When I drafted last, I took Andre Johnson in the 2nd round, Vincent Jackson in the 6th, and Steve Smith (NYG) in the 12th. Those 3 picks with Phillip Rivers have led me to the land of the SB...along with a timely pickup of Jamaal Charles when LJ got suspended. One more week...125 if I win.

we also switched to a keeper league this year. The only thing I do know is the last place guy buys the winner a custom t-shirt.

I was just looking at this draft I had of the team I've been posting about that's in the finals now...I can't believe how well it's turned out, considering 4 of my top 7 picks were borderline awful...a recap (I drafted 12th of 12 teams, standard serpentine format):

R1 (P12): Brandon Jacobs: Fair-Poor, not many TDs, pretty much a bust in round 1
R2 (P1): Andre Johnson: A+, been my best player most of the year
R3 (P12): Philip Rivers: Probably more key to my success than any other player for where I got him. There were no more QBs taken for a while, so I took a flier on him here...he won 4-6 games for me almost by himself.
R4 (P1): Terrell Owens: Poor, though I disn't overdraft him given the preseason rankings, he's only been in my lineup 2 or 3 times. A bust.
R5 (P12): Willie Parker: Disaster, he sucks, got hurt, then benched. Awful.
R6 (P1): Vincent Jackson: Hoorrrayyy Beeer on this pick. This was a major steal, he's been a monster all year, and he is really what gives me the best WRs in the league
R7 (P12): LenDale White: Disaster, he hasn't done dick all year, total waste
R8 (P1): Visanthe Shiancoe: Pretty much a steal here...the TDs he caught during the season got me valuable points, and I didn't have to use a top 7 pick on a TE
R9 (P12): Vikings D: A little high probably, but they've been as good as advertised most of the year
R10 (P1): Steve Breaston: Reasonable player, good lower round pick, but I've never used him
R11 (P12): Leon Washington: This was a steal while he was healthy. He ended up being my 2nd best RB (which isn't saying much), and he had a few reasonably good games before he went out. Getting him this low probably saved my season.
R12 (P1): Steve Smith (NYG): Steal of the draft, bar none. DUde's been money all year, a lower WR1, and he was my WR3
R13 (P12): Anthony Fasano: Boy, did I misjudge his worth (as in, he has none)
R14 (P1): NY Jets D: They've been good several games, and they made a nice rotation for me with Minnesota. I got double digit defensive points virtually every week, which helps in close games.
R15 (P12): Jeremy Maclin: Would be a sweet keeper league spot here, he's come on strong, I've just never really needed him
R16 (P1): Tynes, K: Well, you need a kicker, anyway.

Free agent: Jamaal Charles: The only guy to give me credibility at RB, he's been monster for me later in the year as I passed 4-5 teams on the way to the playoffs.

All in all, amazing I am where I am against some good players...but I'll take it

That's crazy he was still there in the 6th. I had to take him much earlier. Fortunately, I had Aaron Rodgers as a keeper in the 13th round from a draft a year ago before anyone knew he was going to be this good, so I could load up on RBs and WRs early.

I took MJD in the first round, and ended up with receivers V. Jackson, Santonio, and Bernard Berrian. Berrian had an awful year.

Free agents won me some games down the stretch. I picked up Jason Snelling and Justin Forsett when they began to play a lot for injured starters.

I was able to crawl into the playoffs, won the first game (discussed earlier) when Breaston couldn't catch a cold, then beat the regular season champion when he had a down week in the semifinals. Pure luck, but the money still spends the same :p

Good luck in your championship.

Got the championship game this week

Projected to win 119-118 :p

Got some big question marks though

Tempted to move Beanie Wells (vs St Louis) into the lineup over possibly Thomas Jones (@ Indy) [both projected 16 points, Beanie had 23 last week against Detroit)

Also looking at the possibility of playing Mike Nugent (vs St Louis) over Rob Bironas who's playing San Diego (not sure if I like Tennessee to move the ball enough in that one)

I lost by 3 points against the #1 seed to get into the Championship game. Brett Favre killed me by only getting 6 points. Son of a....Our 1st round playoffs were the past 2 weeks and was aggregate scoring, naturally I dominated the first week, and the 2nd my guys didn't produce. Awesome. :(

Semifinals are this week for both of my leagues. I barely made it thru the quarters last week. I was blowing teams out for most of the season, but my guys have struggled over the last several weeks and I don't think this is going to end well in either one.

I made the playoffs in every football league this year, including my 2 BP ones. Pretty sure that's a first for me. I better bring home at least one title, though, with that many chances.

Three championships today!

Might've been more if DeAngelo hadn't faded down the stretch.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner for me in mine too!! :banger:

First time I've ever seen anyone win after drafting 12th in a 12 team league...let alone doing it myself.

I also survived another week in my survival pool thanks to Green Bay...down to 3 teams left out of 40 with one week to go.

I made the championship game in both non-BP leagues this week.

In one of them I was up by about 25 points going into last night with no players left. The other guy had Peterson and Longwell. They combined for just enough points in regulation to put the other guy ahead by a little over a point. Peterson's fumble in OT cost him three points and got me the win. :groove:

None of that shit would've even mattered if I could've got in and changed my lineup Sunday morning. I had D'Angelo Williams in and couldn't replace him because my antivirus went bonkers anytime I tried to go to team or matchup pages on Yahoo.
