How are your non-BP fantasy FB teams doing?

Just curious how everyone's seasons are going away from BP. I am in one pay league, and I'm especially proud of how that team is doing. I drafted 12/12, but I am still 5-2 and tied for 3rd and fighting for a playoff spot. Phillip Rivers, my receivers (A Johnson, V Jackson, S Smith Giants), and the Jets defense (along with a few TDs to Shiancoe) have helped me make up for RB (Jacobs, Parker/Washington/L White) who have more or less sucked. I was able to pick up Shonn Greene and Jamaal Charles for the stretch run, so if I can get anything out of my backs I should at leastbe able to make the playoffs I hope (top 4).

How you doin'?

Pretty badly, despite having Romo, Favre, McNabb (all of which perform well when they're on my bench)... Deangelo, Gore, Smith... Gonzalez. The weak link of my team is WR, where we start 3, and I have Boldin, Holmes, Manningham and have shuffled around others (drafted Coles).

Run into some buzzsaws, lots of 20+ games from opposing qbs. it's a keeper league, so I'm set up well for the future with a late draft pick last year for deangelo and a WW pickup for Mario, but we mus tturn it around fast.

Was in one pay league with some guys I know via online poker. Totally forgot about the draft and remembered after the commish emailed me saying they decided not to do it for money this year, so I didn't mind it being an auto-draft.

Of course this year I am kicking ass. Undefeated and here is my team:

QB: Romo & Roethlisberger
RB: MJD, Lynch, Mendenhall & Jamal Lewis (thankfully I picked up Mendenall)

WR: Randy Moss, Steve Smith, Donald Driver, Santonio Holmes & Brandon Marshall (needless to say these guys are carrying me)

TE: Daniel Owens
K - NE Kicker
Def - Was Tennessee, now I pick up a FA defense every week, currently I have SF & Cincy

I think I will let the CPU draft for me in the future

My Team called "Buckeye Blast" is 2-5

QB: Brees has had 2-3 sick weeks, and then 2-3 mediocre

RB: Ryan Grant, Larry Johnson (Ugh), Darren Sproles, Darren McFadden (injured)

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Gonzo (injured), Ginn (underperforming), Michael Jenkins (non factor), Johnny Knox

TE: Witten (hasn't done much), Shockey (not too shabby, but hard to play over Witten)

K: crosby- Solid

D- Indy right now, pretty solid

I tried to trade Witten for Housmandzadeh andt hen Steve Smith to teams that have injured or bad TE's... but no response.

Question for the fantasy gurus here. I have a dilemma this week against a pretty stout opponent in my league...I have the choice to play Lee Evans (Texans) or Hakeem Nicks (@Eagles) at WR. Also, either DeAngelo Williams (@Cards) or Ahmad Bradshaw (@Eagles) at RB.

Both RB's have pretty tough run defenses to deal with this week..Arizona is #1 against the run and Philly has only allowed 3 rushing TDs all year.

Thoughts?

I have a really good team, but it seems like just about every week the person I'm playing has their game of the season. I lost to this guy this past week by 3 points, mainly because Reggie Bush jumped 5 yards to score a TD. I lost to the same guy earlier in the season when he had Chris Johnson for the 63 point game.

I average 120 points a game and my record is 3-4. I need to make a big run here to get to the playoffs.

Was winning 119-117 with :30 seconds left tonight. Down 18, denver keeps throwing, and gets their rb jacked up. Do they cut their losses and run the ball to end it? No.

Orton comes out and throws a pick to cost me a victory :pissed:

First place. This particular league has been going for about eight years now on Yahoo. This was the very first year we've had a live draft, and I couldn't be happier with the way it went. I think I cleaned these guys' clocks in the draft. It's a deeper league than my BP ones - at least in terms of the number of starters used. We go QB-WR1/2/3-RB1/2-TE-W/R flex-W/T flex-K-DEF. I've won five straight and this is the second week in a row I've posted the highest score.

I have McNabb & Romo at QB. I have C. Johnson, D. Williams, R. Rice & Hightower/Wells at RB. Gonzalez at TE. I'm pretty thin at WR - but in this league if you're deep at that position the rest of your team probably stinks. I have V. Jackson there at least, and I just work the wire for good matchups and bye-week filler. This league give points to individual players for kick return yardage, so I've been able to plug in some lesser-known WRs and get some production (like Jacoby Jones & Robert Meachem). I have Tynes at kicker so I haven't had to worry about that until this week, and even then I was able to pick up Hauschka as he's facing the Browns. I have NO & Cin on DEF.

I'm 6-3 and tied for first in the league I drafted 12th, but I pretty much have to forfeit this week. Only I can manage to have 3 of my 5 best players out the week there are only 2 bye weeks. I think I have the worst lineup in fantasy history this week...featuring such luminaries as Jamaal Charles, Shonn Greene, and Chris Chambers. I'm dead meat.

One week to go in my non-BP pay league where I drafted last (12/12)...I am the #2 seed right now, but I could easily move to 1 or drop out of the playoffs entirely (only 4 teams/12 in playoffs) in the final week. Coming right down to the wire...nailbiting time.
