I’m usually fine with talking your talk if you win - it’s sport, it’s rivalry - but that seemed to carry on a bit much.

So, funny thing having gone to OU and having a kid at Miami. I can say that the hatred between those schools is absolutely on par with how we feel about those fuckers up north. I’m sure I’ve shared this clip before, but when the fucking Alumni band fights with the other school’s football team? That’s real shit right there. FWIW, I was about 5 ft away from the guy filming this clip. Not joking, in person, this was frick’n surreal. But the hate is real and it’s spectacular.



Part of me feels dirty saying this, and @AKAK may want to bitch slap me for this, but Miami is my team in the tourney until they lose… unless we make it and only then I’d root for us over them. But I hope they have a good tourney.

11 seed is a great spot.. not as great as 12 which is likely where the Zips land... 12-5 matchups have been THE major upset match historically..

The entire MAC tourney was wicked... every team played well.. every game was hard fought... and decided last minute.. impressive

Can you spell C-I-N-D-E-R-E-L-L-A? Last time I can remember, the 'Skins played Kentucky in regional, and they put three guys on Wally S, leaving two to guard the other four. Strategy worked, Wally scored his points, but Kentucky advanced.

Miami can really score well, but attempted an insane 25 3-pointers in the first half alone. SMU is missing their #2 scorer tonight, not looking like they have the horses to keep up in this one.

Miami certainly made SMU look like a team that didn't belong in the tournament. SMU was the very last at-large chosen. Now Tennessee awaits, which should be a more interesting game.
