Hot Sauce Recommendations

Alright, I love me some hot sauce and I'm assuming there are some here that do as well. Recommend some good ones. If you say Tabasco I will fly to your home a spray diarrhea on your porch.

Here are some I'm enjoying now.

Secret Aardvark rocks--had no idea they were distributing outside of the region.

I'm a big fan of Marie Sharp's beware spice level sauce. I've also started ordering a decent number of the hot sauces that they feature on the Hot Ones youtube series. Some of the Torchbearer sauces are spicy, but they still have good flavor.

Stuff was like a drug here in Portland. When the founder died it wasn't made for a while and the few places that had it back then had to take it off the tables because people were stealing it. Glad to see they are becoming wider known.
I work with a guy from the PNW and he recommended it during a hot sauce discussion. It really is my favorite sauce I've had in a long time.

I still haven’t found anything I like better on breakfast food (eggs) than Cholula. So far it’s perfect for the morning.

I think for buffao chicken dip you still have to use franks red hot - I can’t imagine anything else being used. Seems perfect for that dish.

I’ve been wanting to try Michael Anthony’s hot sauces and also the “hot ones “. I like a nice solid medium heat with really good flavor. Hate going to burn town and suffering but that level of heat seems very personal.

Anyone else have the issue with the wife where she has more of an issue with jalapeño type peppers and I have more of a problem with habanero type? at least I think that’s what it is but not certain I have it correct.. We often find different sauces to be way hotter than the other and laugh at how it can be happening. Strange no?

Give the Secret Aardvark (above) a try... It's the best thing I've had on eggs ever.

My wife thinks catsup is a bit too spicy, so I can't commiserate.

To add to the thread--Cajohn's used to be out of Columbus and has great sauces. They are selling online as a part of this group of providers.
