Homerism exists, no matter who or where you are. .

Homerism does exist, its real. We need to try to stamp out Homerism, in our homes (ironically) or schools, our Churches and our workplaces. Nothing can compare to the feeling of degradation of being exposed to Homerism.

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from The John Cooper Years. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of losing to Michigan State. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Cleveland, go back to Toledo, go back to Dayton, go back to Cincinnati, go back to Akron, go back to the corners of O-H-I-O, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.

Let us not wallow in the valley of despair of losing to Northwestern, I say to you today, my friends.

And so even though we face the difficulties of Homerism today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Buckeye dream.

I have a dream that one day this Buckeye Nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all football fans are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the shore of Lake Erie, the sons of former Michigan Players and the sons of former Buckeyes will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Michigan, a state sweltering with the stench of natural cesspools, sweltering with the heat of mediocrity, will be transformed into an oasis of football sportsmanship.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the scarlet color of their authentic Ohio State Football Jerseys but by their 8 straight National Championships.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious Tide Fans, with its Former coach having his lips dripping with the words of "Roll Tide Roll" and "it Rollin Baby" -- one day right there in Auburn, Alabama little Tiger boys and Tiger girls will be able to join hands with little Tide boys and Tide girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every Mid Major shall be exalted, and every Independant Shedule Quirk shall be made low, the BCS Shall Be Made a Playoff, and the split National Championships Sahll be Made one; "and the glory of the Buckeye Football shall be revealed and all the College Football world shall see it together."²

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to Columbus with.

I have a dream today!

They do have some intelligent posters there. Here are some comments from the "Why Texas Stomps a Mudhole In Ohio State's Ass" thread.

"Listen, Jim Tressel would buttfuck a rhino if you told him offensive creativity was hiding in the rhino's ass."

"At heart, Jim Tressel has a vagina that can swallow stationwagons and that will bear itself out for us."

Very intelligent.

Now that is some funny shit. Just insert the words LLLoyd Carr for Jim Tressel, and sub defensive aptitude for offensive creativity, and I would really enjoy both statements.
